The Local Offer

St Clare's Catholic Primary as a voluntary aided school have signed up to school provision as outlined in Birmingham’s School Offer.

Under the new Special Educational Needs and Disability Code of Practice (September 2014 and updated 2015) our school is expected to provide SEND information with reference to:

  • Appropriate and Effective Teaching and Learning
  • Open and Honest Communication
  • A Partnership Approach

Please click on the Hyperlinks (in blue) for further information/resources.
The funding for pupils who have special educational needs (SEN) and/or disabilities is
used well. Clear systems are in place to identify and assess pupils who need support.

Ofsted October 2018

Some pupils make strong progress, for example pupils who speak English
as an additional language. Pupils who have SEN and/or disabilities
make good progress against the small steps and targets set for them.

Ofsted October 2018.
